We have just finished in our company a BLSD refresher course on how to use a defibrillator in order to safeguard the health of employees and collaborators.
The purpose of the training was that all our staff, in case of a necessity, knows how to provide first-aid assistance. As per INAIL statistical data, out-of-hospital heart failure is accountable for about 60 thousand deaths per year in Italy. Hence, outlining correct first-aid techniques and providing for suitable tools in the workplace can make a huge difference.
